Summer Solstice

'Sky Garden' is an elemental garden of earth and sky realized during the summer solstice. A series of reflecting pools introduces the sky and its atmospheric and living phenomena—passing clouds, birds, and the dynamic hues transmitted during the phases of twilight—into the shadowed terrestrial space within the stone foundation walls of a timber barn built circa 1880.

Part of 'In Wake,' a group exhibition unfolding across five acres of rural countryside, aligning contemporary art with seasonal cycles, light, and shared time.
